Last night, I listened to Anita Moorjani on Hay House Radio talking about how to cut through all the confusion caused by conflicting advice on healthcare, and how to tune in to your own body to find out what it really needs to be healthy.
It was inspiring for me to learn how decisions are made either based on fear or based on love and what impact it can have on the body. Fear-based emotions can harm the body and weaken the immune system. Anita was saying that we abuse our body with negative emotions and the effect is far worse than the body having to deal with pesticides or the effects of chemo.
She is also saying that our bodies are very clever and know what is good for us. Her suggestion is to find a quiet time and ask a question. For example, “What do I need to know right now?” or “Which foods are good for me to eat?” Really feel this in your heart and let it go. Then spend a little time on your own, maybe go out for a walk and don’t think any more about that question. You will be guided and get the answer unexpectedly. Listen to your heart and give your mind a rest.
Her advice on what to focus on:
Live – Love – Laughter – Be who you are
When I listened to her speak, I could embrace every word she was saying and I feel motivated to start asking myself before I eat, “Do I eat this food because I love it or I fear if I don’t eat it, I will get sick?”
