Another consultant appointment. The professor wanted me to have the nerve conduction tests again. She was aware of my fears and suggested I took some sedation. The tests results weren’t actually as bad as the previous ones. I had Helen in my ears the whole way through as I listened to her CDs and tried to keep as calm as possible. I was starting to have lots of problems with sleeping and my walking was getting worse. My legs felt so heavy as if I was dragging them along. I started going to see a chiropractor who assessed me and felt the problems could be coming from a twisted pelvis, as my neck, back and spine were in a dreadful mess. She didn’t feel an MND diagnosis was correct. I still had hope. It was a see-saw of emotion, from hope to despair.
